During the second round, both sides engaged in constructive, open, and frank discussions, driven by goodwill, mutual respect, institutional awareness, and a shared commitment to balancing interests in accordance with their international obligations and respective levels of development.
The two sides exchanged detailed information on current policies, clarified language in the draft agreement, and discussed a comprehensive approach to address core issues of mutual concern, with the aim of accelerating the negotiation process.
