VietinBank wins Best Services for Trade Finance in Vietnam
VOV.VN - UK financial publication Asiamoney has honoured the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank) as the Best Services for Trade Finance in Vietnam for 2022.
This comes as a result of the latest Euromoney-Asiamoney Trade Finance Survey for 2022 which recognised the leading providers of trade finance products and services. This year the survey collected a total of 10,714 responses.
Last year saw VietinBank's trade finance sales achieve a high growth rate of 34.2% compared to 2020, despite the nation’s economic growth slowing due to the complicated developments relating to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Most notably, the initial five months of the year saw the bank continue to set a new record, with the growth rate of trade finance sales reaching 41.3% compared to the same period from last year.
Recent years has seen VietinBank rack up a number of prestigious awards. In March VietinBank also received two great prizes granted by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) for three consecutive years, including “Best Issuing Bank Partner in East Asia and the Pacific” and “Best Bank Partner for Climate Trade in East Asia and the Pacific”.
Furthermore, 2020 saw the bank honoured by the Global Finance magazine of the United States as the Best Trade Finance Provider in Vietnam for 2020.
Moreover, it also won the Best Trade Finance Bank award of the Asian Banker in 2017, 2018, and 2019.
