Typical Da Nang products on display at Routes Asia 2022
VOV.VN - A number of high-tech and automated products, as well as typical specialties of the central city of Da Nang, are set to be showcased across 40 booths at the Asia Route Development Forum 2022 (Routes Asia 2022) free of charge, according to the municipal Department of Industry and Trade.
Nguyen Huu Hanh, deputy director of the Da Nang Department of Industry and Trade, revealed that organisers will select typical products from the central city and provide free support for all costs of displaying these items.
Hanh emphasized that firms are required to ensure the overall quality and clear origin of each of the products, as well as relevant food safety and hygiene criteria when introducing their items to both domestic and foreign visitors at the event.
The function is expected to provide an ideal platform in which to strengthen trade exchanges among businesses, cooperatives producing “One Commune, One Product” (OCOP) items, handicrafts made by craft villages, and products for the supporting industry.
It is anticipated that the occasion will lay a foundation for local businesses gradually recover from the pandemic as the country moves into the new normal.
Furthermore, the municipal Department of Industry and Trade will co-ordinate efforts alongside the Department of Tourism to organise a photo exhibition to elevate the image of Da Nang at the Asia Aviation and Tourism Exhibition 2022.
Simultaneously, it will co-operate with the Da Nang Investment Promotion Agency to host "Da Nang Forum - Potential destination of Asia", which primarily focuses on providing information on the potential for trade and industrial development, as well as promoting logistics services of the central city.
The Routes Asia 2022 is scheduled to take place in Da Nang from June 6-8, with the UK's Informa Routes, Da Nang municipal People's Committee and Duy Anh Trading JSC - IPP Travel Retail being selected as the hosts of the event.
