Two Vietnamese airlines attend Thailand International Travel Fair 2025
VOV.VN - Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air joined more than 10 airlines worldwide at the 30th Thailand International Travel Fair (TITF) that is getting underway in Bangkok from January 16-19.
The fair, organized by the Thai Travel Agents Association (TTAA), also saw the participation of more than 1,000 travel agents, hotels, restaurants, booking platforms, and car rental services from China, Japan, ASEAN countries, Iran, and Uzbekistan, aiming to boost aviation recovery and promote the growth of the tourism industry after the COVID-19 pandemic.
At the event, Vietnam Airlines is showcasing Vietnam’s tourism potential with frequent flights between Bangkok and three major Vietnamese cities, namely Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang.
Ngo Tri Hung, head of Vietnam Airlines’ branch in Thailand, emphasized that TITF is an excellent opportunity to enhance bilateral tourism, particularly during major holidays like the Lunar New Year and Thailand’s Songkran Festival.
Meanwhile, Vietnamese Ambassador to Thailand Pham Viet Hung affirmed that Vietnamese enterprises’s engagement in this fair will help attract Thai tourists to Vietnam and to strengthen travel links between the two countries.
The Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand always supports to help Vietnamese businesses in all fields, including aviation and tourism, to operate and succeed in the Thai market, he said.
The fair, which is expected to welcome 225,000 visitors and host 1,100 exhibitors, marks the beginning of the “Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism Year 2025” campaign, which aims to attract 39-40 million international tourists.
