Turkey to hold hearing on anti-circumvention probe into Vietnamese solar panels

VOV.VN - The Turkish Ministry of Trade’s Directorate General of Imports (DGI) has announced that it will arrange a hearing on July 24 regarding the anti-circumvention investigation into solar panels originating from Croatia, Jordan, Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam, according to the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam (TRAV).

The hearing will be held via an online platform with the registration deadline on July 22.

To ensure the rights and interests of Vietnamese businesses, the TRAV has advised local firms to proactively register to take part in the hearing, carefully study the DGI's instructions, prepare sufficient documents on request, and fully co-operate with the Turkish agency throughout the investigation process.

The DGI first initiated an anti-circumvention investigation into solar panels originating from Croatia, Jordan, Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam on November 29, 2023.

These countries are alleged to have evaded trade defence duties on solar panels which are currently being applied to China.
