Top 10 reputable Vietnamese retailers for 2021 announced

- MM Mega Market Vietnam
- Aeon Vietnam.
- Lotte Vietnam Trading Center
- Saigon Trade Corporation
- Southern Airports Services (SASCO)
- Trans Pacific Trading Service Import-Export
- Hanoi Trade Corporation.
The top ten retailers specializing in electrical appliances, refrigeration, gold and silver are:
- Mobile World Investment (MWG)
- DOJI Gold and Gems
- Phu Nhuan Jewelry (PNJ)
- FPT Digital Retail
- Saigon Jewelry (SJC)
- Cao Phong Co., Ltd.
- Media Mart Vietnam

The companies were evaluated and ranked based on three main criteria: financial capacity, media reputation, and results of a survey conducted in August and September 2021.
The retail sector has experienced many upheavals during the past two years due to the impact caused by four waves of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Despite the three COVID-19 outbreaks in 2020, retail sales reached more than VND3.9 quadrillion, an increase of 6.8% compared to the previous year.
However, the fourth COVID-19 outbreak that started in late April 2021 has dealt a heavy blow to the retail sector. The opening nine months of this year saw retail sales fall 3.4% year on year to nearly VND2.28 quadrillion.
According to Vietnam Report, it will take the domestic retail market seven to 12 months to completely recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.
