The event is scheduled to take place on March 29 at FLC SamSon, with around 800 domestic and international delegates expected to attend.

Of the total, 27 projects with combined registered capital of more than VND28 trillion (about US$1.06 billion) will receive investment approvals and registration certificates at the conference.

The province said it has completed necessary procedures to prepare for granting approvals and signing agreements for the projects.

Alongside preferential policies, investors in Thanh Hoa will be supported in administrative procedures, land clearance and technical infrastructure.

According to the Thanh Hoa People’s Committee, infrastructure has been completed at 11 industrial parks, which are ready to receive secondary investors, while eight others are undergoing site clearance and infrastructure development.

In addition, 49 industrial clusters developed by enterprises are under infrastructure construction, covering a total area of about 1,700 hectares, with registered capital of around VND12.85 trillion (about US$0.49 billion).

Mai Xuan Liem,  Vice Chairman of the Thanh Hoa People’s Committee, said the province has invested in transport infrastructure, particularly key routes connecting regions and linking to national and international networks.

Since 2020, more than VND9 trillion (about US$0.34 billion) has been allocated to develop east–west transport corridors and connect expressway interchanges, alongside the development of industrial parks and tourism and service areas linked to expressways, he said.

Thanh Hoa strengthens links with Thai tourist market

The People’s Committee of Thanh Hoa province on October 2 hosted a conference to promote the Thai tourist market, with an aim of attracting more visitors from Thailand to Vietnam's north-central locality.
