TH Group imports 1,800 cows from the US
VOV.VN - TH Group received a shipment of up to 1,800 high-producing Holstein Friesian (HF) cows imported from the US, in Cua Lo Port, Nghe An province, on October 14.

The purebred HF cows, which are between 3 and 5 months pregnant, have been carefully selected by TH experts in terms of origin of pedigree, genetic potential, physical appearance, high capacity of milk production and ability to fight infectious diseases in tropical countries.
The cows, weighing between 400 and 500 kg each, are each expected to produce an average of 12,000 liters of milk for a cycle of 305 days based on a close production process to ensure high quality and nutritional content.
As scheduled, the international-standard fresh milk supplied by the cows will be on sale from January 1st, 2019.
In April 2017, TH Group imported its first batch of 1,300 cows from the US.
The group has previously imported 17 shipments of HP milk cows from New Zealand.
