Suedwolle inaugurates dyeing textile factory in Ninh Thuan

VOV.VN - Suedwolle Group of Germany inaugurated its Ninh Thuan Dyeing Textile factory on April 9 at the Du Long Industrial Park in Thuan Bac district, Ninh Thuan province.

The project boasts a total investment capital exceeding US$21 million that has been invested in and constructed by Ninh Thuan Dyeing Textile Co. Ltd (NDT), a subsidiary of German yarn maker Suedwolle Group.

Covering a three-hectare area, the factory has an initial production scale of 2,000 tonnes per year and is expected to increase its capacity to 4,000 tonnes per year in the next phase.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Karol Sieradzki, general director of Ninh Thuan Textile Dyeing Company Limited, emphasised that the factory is equipped to feature cutting-edge dyeing technologies with the aim of ensuring high-speed and precise processing, minimising physical impact on fibers, as well as fulfilling the company's commitments to environmental responsibility.

The launch of the dyeing plant in the locality marks an important step forward in the group's efforts to provide customers with an integrated supply chain in the country, he added.

Along with the existing wool spinning plant by the Dalat Worsted Spinning Company (DWS), a subsidiary of Suedwolle Group, the new factory is anticipated to provide customers with benefits from an optimised supply chain that will help to achieve competitive advantages such as reduced delivery time and improved production efficiency, he noted.

For his part, Nguyen Ngoc Minh, deputy director of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Department of Finance, highlighted the significant contributions made by NDT and secondary investors in Du Long Industrial Park to the locality’s wider socio-economic development.

He expressed his belief that the group will continue to develop and affirm its position thanks to its prestige, capacity, and experience in investing in both textile and dyeing factories in various locations worldwide.

He called on the group to continue applying advanced and environmentally friendly technologies in production activities, prioritise recruiting local workers, and pay close attention to implementing social security work within the locality.

Suedwolle is the world’s leading manufacturer of wool yarn with over 3,200 employees and is based in Nuremberg, Germany. It has production facilities in Germany, Italy, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, China, and Vietnam.
