Over 400 exhibitors to join int’l trade fair for apparel and textile technologies
VOV.VN - More than 400 exhibitors from various countries worldwide are set to participate in the Vietnam International Trade Fair for Apparel, Textiles and Textile Technologies (VIATT) which will run from February 26 to 28 in Ho Chi Minh City.
The trade fair is to be co-hosted by the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency and Germany’s Messe Frankfurt Group.
On display at over 500 booths will be a wide range of products and solutions from the garment and textile sector, including fabrics and garment accessories, yarns and fibers, outsourced products, services of granting certifications, and textile solutions.
One of the highlights at VIATT 2025 will be the Vietnam National Brand Pavilion which will provide an ideal venue for local firms to promote their products, seek partners, and demonstrate their leading role in the textile and garment sector.
Within the framework of the fair, there will also be seminars and fashion shows put on by Vietnamese designer Vu Viet Ha and French designer Manix Wong.
Vietnam outpaces Bangladesh to become world’s second apparel - textile exporter
VOV.VN - Vietnam has surpassed Bangladesh to become the world’s second largest apparel and textile exporter, ranking only behind China, said Hoang Manh Cam, spokesperson for the Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex) at a press briefing on December 25.
