Standard Chartered named “Best Foreign SME Bank in Vietnam 2024”

VOV.VN - Standard Chartered Bank Vietnam has been named as the “Best Foreign SME Bank in Vietnam” for 2024, with this being the second consecutive year the financial institution has picked up the award.

This prestigious recognition has been awarded by Global Business Outlook and serves to reaffirm the bank’s strong commitment to empowering small and medium enterprise (SMEs) clients across the nation, with innovative banking services and tailored financial solutions.

With its extensive global capabilities and deep local expertise, Standard Chartered has been enabling investment and trade flows of FDI SMEs into the Vietnamese market, providing best-in-class cross-border trade, FX, and account services, thereby bridging Vietnam as an attractive investment destination with other Asian and global hubs.

The bank actively engages in initiatives which aim to support the broader growth and development of SMEs in Vietnam by providing access to global-standard financing, from working capital to term loans with flexible collateral options in line with customers’ needs, to leveraging technology to provide SMEs clients with seamless banking experiences.

To lift participation among women-led SMEs, Standard Chartered Vietnam recently signed a strategic co-operation with HAWEE - HCMC Association of Women Executives and Entrepreneurs to offer our SC WIN (Standard Chartered – Women’s International Network) programme, supporting women entrepreneurs to achieve their goals locally and globally.

The institution is also looking to deliver its reputable digital invoice financing solution, with this being enhanced to meet with the needs of women-led SMEs as part of SC WIN, to support women-led SMEs access to financing at ease.
