SMEs urged to stay abreast with 4th Industrial Revolution era
VOV.VN - The US-ASEAN Business Council and Hai Phong People’s Committee hosted a workshop titled "Elevating SMEs into Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Inclusive Global Value Chains" on November 21 in Hai Phong city.

Dr. Vu Viet Ngoan, Head of the Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Team, said Vietnamese SMEs need to strengthen confidence, transparency, and long-term connectivity with partners.
“Once the three problems are resolved plus the support of mechanisms and State policies, I hope that SMEs will enjoy a boom as expected by the government. A series of legal documents have been adopted to back SMEs, which are expected to be the momentum for growth", Mr Ngoan noted.
The workshop focused on increasing SMEs' competitiveness to face the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era through utilization of digital tools, integration to the global value chain, and improved access to regional markets.
