Rush to finish 6-star hotel, marina in Danang
VOV.VN - Workers are rushing to complete construction of a 6-starhotel and marina in Danang ahead of the 25th APEC Summit set to get underway later this year, reports Zing.vn Online Newspaper.
The complex is being constructed on a 3-hectare site in the Ngu Hanh Son District of the City. |
The project spans nearly 1 km of coastline on Cocobay and has a total budgeted cost for all phases of US$617 million (VND14,000 billion). |
According to the general contractor, only the first phase of the Cocobay project is scheduled to be completed and open to the public by the time the APEC conference starts this coming November. |
Workers are also in a rush to complete work on a second hotel and condominium project on Le Van Duyet Street in the Son Tra District of the City. |
Workers are way ahead of schedule and are putting the finishing touches on the massive Tien Son Sports Palace, which should be completed in just a few days. |
Another project, a Sheraton Hotel is on track for completion by the end of June says the general contractor. It will serve as one of the meeting places for the 21 heads of state and 800 delegates attending the Summit. |
