ROK business expo gets underway in HCM City

VOV.VN - With an eye on tapping the Vietnam market, Republic of Korea (ROK) businesses are hosting an important trade exhibition in Ho Chi Minh City on October 25-27 at the Emart Go Vap campus.

Some 50 manufacturers from the ROK including top brands Tony Moly, Enprani, Ottogi, Paldo and Daesang are showcasing their wares, which run the gamut from cosmetics, industrial machinery, clothing and textiles and souvenirs to medical and health related items.

The business ties between Vietnam and the ROK are strong, said Kim Jae Hong, president of the Korea Trade Investment Promotion Agency in a keynote address at the opening ceremonies.

More than 5,000 companies from the ROK are currently involved in exporting goods to Vietnam and through events like these that number is expected to grow tremendously, he added.
