Retail petrol prices fall for the second time in a week
VOV.VN - Retail petrol prices fell for the second time in Vietnam this week, keeping them at their lowest levels in four years.

According to the announcement by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, RON 95, the most commonly used petrol in the country, dropped by VND410/l to VND19,170/l as of 3PM on May 8.
Meanwhile, biofuel E5 RON 92 went down by VND380/l, bringing the maximum retail price of the petrol to VND18,770/l.
Prices for oil products were also revised down, with diesel falling by VND550/l to VND16,800/l, kerosene by VND620/l to VND16,940/l, and mazut (fuel oil) by VND660/kg to VND15,530/kg.
The two ministries confirmed that no deductions or disbursements were made from the national petrol price stabilisation fund during this adjustment.
This is the second time in a week that retail petrol prices have decreased to a four-year low.
On May 5, RON 95 and E5RON92 dropped VND52 and VND84 respectively to VND19,586/l and VNDVND19,154/l.
Similarly, diesel, kerosene and mazut also went down to VND17,359/l, VND17,564/l, and VND16,198/kg.
So far this year, RON 95 has experienced 9 increases and 10 decreases, while diesel has seen 8 increases, 10 reductions, and one unchanged.
