Reference exchange rate revised down further
The State Bank of Vietnam revised the daily reference exchange rate for VND/USD down by another VND2 to VND22,467 on October 10.

With the current trading band of +/-3%, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is VND23,141 and the floor rate VND21,793 per USD.
The opening hour rates at major commercial banks showed little changes from October 9.
Vietcombank kept both rates unchanged from the previous day, at VND22,690 (buying) and VND22,760 (selling) per USD.
Vietinbank cut both rates by VND5 to VND22,690 (buying) and VND22,760 (selling) per USD.
Meanwhile, BIDV is buying the greenback at VND22,690, the same as on October 9, and selling at VND22,775, up VND15.
