Reference exchange rate goes up by 8VND
The State Bank of Vietnam set its reference VND/USD exchange rate at VND22,460/USD on the morning of October 18, up by VND8 from the day ago.

With the current /- 3% VND/USD trading band, the ceiling exchange rate is VND23,134 per USD and the floor rate is VND21,786 per USD.
Major commercial banks kept their rates quite stable.
Vietcombank offered its buying and selling rates at VND22,685 and VND22,755, per USD, up by VND5 compared with October 17.
Vietinbank and BIDV set VND22,680 (buying) and VND22,750 (selling), per USD, unchanged from the day earlier.
