Reference exchange rate goes down VND1

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for VND/USD on June 30 at VND22,431, down VND1 from the day before. 

With the current trading band of + /-3%, the ceiling rate for commercial banks during the day is VND23,103 and the floor rate VND21,759 per USD. 

The opening hour rates at commercial banks saw a slight drop, with Vietcombank and Vietinbank cutting both their rates by VND5. 

At Vietcombank, the buying rate was listed at VND22,700 and selling rate VND22,770, while Vietinbank bought the greenback at VND22,690 per USD and sold at VND22,770. 

Meanwhile, BIDV kept its rates unchanged from June 29, buying at VND22,705 and selling at VND22,775 per USD.
