Reference exchange rate goes down by VND3
The State Bank of Vietnam adjusted its reference VND/USD exchange rate down by VND3 from June 27 to VND22,433/USD on June 28.

With the current +/- 3% VND/USD trading band, the ceiling exchange rate is VND23,105 per USD and the floor rate is VND21,761 per USD.
At the opening hours, major commercial banks raised their rates slightly.
Vietcombank offered VND22,705 (buying) and VND22,775 (selling), per USD, up VND5 from the day ago.
BIDV bought one USD for VND22,710 and sold one USD for VND22,780, showing an increase of VND10 in both rates.
Vietinbank posted its buying rate at VND22,695, down by VND5 and its selling rate at VND22,775, up by VND5, per USD.
