Prachin Buri unveils campaign to promote local businesses

The Department of Business Development in Prachin Buri has unveiled a new campaign to help promote local businesses. 

The Prachin Buri Department of Business Development Office Chief Jaratchai Chokeruangsakul recently chaired the opening of the “Tong Chom” market, which has been planned in accordance with the government policy to strengthen local economy through the promotion of the domestic market. 

The Internal Trade Department had recommended the project to Prachin Buri Province to make it more substantial and help local farmers as well as business groups and producers of OTOP items and residents of the province, be able to directly interact with consumers. 

Prachin Buri Province’s “Tong Chom” Market is situated at the King Naresuan the Great roundabout and is the first of its kind introduced since the improvement of the area’s landscape. 

Visitors to the market are able to enjoy various products, which have been grouped in different zones and equipped with price tags and standard scales to assure shoppers that they will not be overcharged.
