PM Phuc to host third dialogue with farmers
VOV.VN - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc is set to hold a third dialogue with farmers in early August to remove difficulties farmers encounter in agricultural production.
The event, to take place in Buon Ma Thuot city of Dak Lak province, will see over 600 delegates participate, including 300 exemplary farmers who will be representing rural farmers throughout the country.
Luu Quang Dinh, editor-in-chief of Nong thon Ngay nay newspaper, cum deputy head of the organising board, says the dialogue will focus on increasing agricultural value and assisting farmers to overcome challenges they face during their work.
Moreover, support will be offered to help them achieve prosperity, and develop civilised and modern rural areas throughout the central region and the Central Highlands.
PM Phuc is expected to answer farmers’ questions regarding developing sustainable agriculture, building rural infrastructure, increasing farmer incomes and building a cultural life of ethnic minorities in the Central Highlands and the central region.
The dialogue will see the PM offer solutions and directions in order to help farmers overcome difficulties when trying to restore production amid complicated developments of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
At present, roughly 1,500 questions have been submitted to the organising board.
