Plastics exhibition in HCM City opens to large crowds

VOV.VN - The 16th Vietnam International Plastics & Rubber Industry Exhibition (September 28-October 1) has descended on Ho Chi Minh City at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre.

Approximately 500 exhibitors and 12,000 visitors are expected to attend the event, which is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily with the exception of the final day for which it closes earlier at 3:00 p.m.

At this year’s event, the largest exhibitor is VietnamPlas, who is showcasing high-calibre extruders, bag making machines and plastics moulding machines, said Tran Ngoc Thuan, chairman of the Vietnam Rubber Association, in a keynote address at the opening.

In the terms of chemicals and raw materials, Global Suzuki Co., Ltd. from Japan will exhibit cutting-edge water-repellent coating materials and alkaline detergents, he noted, while WAPS Co., Ltd. from Korea will display recyclable PVC & TPE materials.

Other exhibits including bending machines, temperature control machines, etc., all ready to satisfy the need of manufacturers in Vietnam as well as those throughout the entire Southeast Asian region.
