Petrol prices witness slight increase on July 28
VOV.VN - The ministries of Industry and Trade and Finance moved to revise their petrol and oil prices up at 3pm on July 28, with the retail price of bio-fuel E5 RON 92 rising by VND151 to VND14,409 per litre.
Meanwhile, the price of RON 95 remained unchanged at VND14,973 per litre.
Other types of oil saw slight price increases, with the prices of diesel 0.05S and kerosene now capped at VND12,397 and VND10,279 per litre, respectively. Furthermore, Mazut 180CST 3.5S is being sold at no more than VND11,183 per kilogram.
The latest price hike comes following the rising global price of petrol over the last 15 days, according to the two ministries.
Both ministries decided to increase their expenditure for the petrol price stabilisation fund by VND100 per litre for E5 RON 92, VND200 per litre for RON 95, VND500 per litre for diesel, VND300 per litre for kerosene, and VND300 per kilogram for mazut.
