Petrol prices rebound to nearly VND24,000 per litre in latest adjustment
VOV.VN - The retail prices of petrol were revised up to nearly VND24,000 per litre from 3pm on February 29 by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and the Ministry of Finance.
Accordingly, the price of E5 RON92 surged by VND280 to VND22,750 per litre while that of RON95 rose by VND330 to VND23,920 per litre.
The price of diesel oil dropped by VND140 to VND20,770 per litre while kerosene was capped at no more than VND20,780 per litre. Meanwhile, mazut oil 180CST 3.5S was sold at VND15,950 per kilo, up VND30 per litre compared to the previous period.
During this adjustment, the two ministries decided not to use the petrol and oil price stabilisation fund for all types of gasoline, except for mazut oil at VND 300 per kilogram.
Since the beginning of the year, petrol prices have undergone nine adjustments, with six times up, and 3 times down.
