Petrol prices fall slightly following latest review

VOV.VN - The retail price of petrol witnessed a small decrease as of 3pm on August 12 following an announcement by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) and the Ministry of Finance after their latest review.

The latest shifts saw the price of RON95-III fall by VND50 to VND14,922 per litre.

Meanwhile, the price of both diesel 0.05S and kerosene was capped at VND12,201 and VND10,207 per litre, representing drops of VND196 per litre and VND72 per litre, respectively.

Furthermore, the prices of E5 RON92 and mazut 180CST 3.5S remained unchanged at VND14,409 per litre and VND11,183 per kilogram, respectively.

Both ministries therefore decided to increase their expenditure in the petrol price stabilisation fund by VND100 per litre for E5 RON 92, VND200 per litre for RON 95, VND500 per litre for diesel, VND300 per litre for kerosene, and VND300 per kilogram for mazut.

The MoIT and the Ministry of Finance review fuel prices every 15 days in order to adjust domestic prices in accordance with fluctuations which occur in the global market.
