Petrol prices down over 720 VND per litre

Retail petrol prices continue to fall by as much as 729 VND per litre as of from 3 pm on February 3, the third consecutive reduction since the beginning of 2016.

Accordingly, the prices of RON 92 petrol and E5 bio-fuel were reduced by VND729 and VND496 per litre, respectively. 

As such, the respective maximum prices of RON 92 petrol and E5 bio-fuel will be VND14,713 (US$0.66) per litre and VND14,263 (US$0.64) per litre. 

The price of diesel 0.05S also dropped by VND627 per litre. Likewise, the prices for kerosene and mazut were revised down by VND483 per litre and a mere VND20 per kilograme respectively. 

This deduction has made the current petrol price some VND3,000 per litre lower than that in early 2015.
