Over 500 travel companies to participate in MICE EXPO 2024

VOV.VN - The MICE EXPO 2024, the largest annual event organised to bring together over 500 travel companies, is scheduled to take place on September 27 at the National Convention Centre in Hanoi.

At a press conference held on August 30 in Hanoi, the organisers Vietnam Tourism Association (VITA) announced that they would invite a number of foreign partners from both the Republic of Vietnam and Thailand to exchange information and share experiences on MICE (meeting, incentive travel, convention/conference, exhibition/event) tourism.

A wide range of activities will be held, including Business-to-business (B2B) meetings and the launch of a Vietnam MICE tourism development forum.

A golf tournament will be arranged in Hanoi. In addition, the organizers will hold a fact-finding tour for businesses in Ha Long city in Quang Ninh province from September 28 to September 29.

The MICE Expo jointly organised by the VITA and the Vietnam MICE Club (VMC) aims to provide a chance for travel companies to discuss tourism trends in the second half of year and ahead towards 2025.

This year the expo’s theme focuses on green tourism as the organising committee expects to raise public awareness on environmental protection and encourage the use of recyclable materials whilst mitigating the use of plastics.
