Over 450 businesses worldwide attend Vietnam Medipharm Expo

VOV.VN - The 22nd Vietnam International Medical and Pharmaceutical Exhibition (Vietnam Medipharm Expo) 2024 opened on August 1 in Ho Chi Minh City, gathering together more than 450 businesses from 22 countries and territories worldwide.

The exhibitors are showcasing a range of healthcare products, food supplements, medical equipment, and hospital services across 500 booths set up at the event.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Pham Dang Khanh, deputy general director of the organizers Vinexad JSC, highlighted that the expo serves as a venue for businesses to advertise their products; exchange experience; seize upon investment, production, and business opportunities; and expand markets, thereby contributing to public health care and improvement.

A business matching programme and specialised seminars will also be held which will create a chance for organisations and enterprises to share experience, seize investment opportunities, explore new markets, and transfer technology for the purpose of improving production and business efficiency.

Vietnam has a population of approximately 100 million people, thereby representing a potential market that many foreign businesses are keen to expand distribution ahead of next year.

Vietnam Medipharm Expo 2024 is scheduled to last through to August 3 and is expected to welcome thousands of arrivals.
