Over 260 local and Chinese exhibitors join Electronics & Smart Appliances Expo
VOV.VN - The Vietnam International Electronics & Smart Appliances Expo (IEAE) officially opened on October 30 in Hanoi, with the event attracting more than 260 exhibitors from both China and Vietnam.
On display at the event were a range of cutting-edge technologies and innovative products, as well as various smart designs such as consumer electronics, mobile electronics, smart wearable devices, computers and computer components, smart home appliances, and electronic accessories and components.
Upon addressing the event, To Ngoc Son, deputy director of the Asia-Africa Market Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, emphasized that the country has become an increasingly important linkage in the supply chain in the region and the world in the fields of electronics, household appliances, and smart devices.
The three-day expo will therefore provide an ideal venue for domestic businesses to seek co-operative opportunities with international partners, increase global connectivity, expand markets, and improve products in the field of electronics and smart devices. These efforts will serve to contribute to promoting the sustainable development of the electronics and smart device industry in the nation, Son added.
Meanwhile, Mo Si Jian, vice president of ChaoYu Exhibition Group, stressed that the expo introduced the most advanced technologies from more than 200 brands from Vietnam, the Republic of Korea, and more than 16 provinces and cities in China.
The successful organisation of this expo will add fresh impetus to the development of the electronics and smart device industry in the country in particular and the world in general, he noted.
The event is expected to welcome more than 10,000 visitors.
