Over 2,000 foreign experts to attend fifth Asia Pacific LPG Expo in Vietnam

VOV.VN - More than 2,000 foreign experts, investors, and government officials are set to attend the fifth Asia Pacific LPG Expo - Vietnam 2024 slated to take place from October 22 to October 23 in Hanoi to explore initiatives and global co-operative opportunities in the LPG industry.

With the theme of "The future of LPG in Asia - Pacific", the LPG Expo 2024 will focus on new policy frameworks, investment opportunities, and infrastructure innovation in the field of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).

This can be considered as the leading event in the LPG industry, providing an ideal platform for experts, businesses, financiers, and government officials to strengthen connectivity and to open up strategic international co-operation and investment opportunities.

On display at the event will be a range of cutting-edge products and services by LPG equipment distributors, meaning that businesses can stay updated on the most advanced trends in the LPG market and gain greater insights into in the development situation of this field.

In Vietnam, the LPG market has been growing strongly thanks to the growing energy demand, ranging from both industrial to civil fields.

According to the report compiled by the World LPG Association and Argus Media, the nation consumed a total of 3.9 million tonnes of LPG in 2022.

In September 2023, the country’s total imports reached 193,658 tonnes, with revenue exceeding US$116.8 million.
