More container trucks cross border gates into China

VOV.VN - Over 300 container trucks carrying goods have received the green light to cross over the Chinese border during the Lunar New Year holiday (Tet) thanks to smooth customs clearance at the Huu Nghi and Tan Thanh border gates.

Customs clearance started at the Tan Thanh border gate from the third day of the first lunar month.

Each day typically sees between 25 to 30 trucks transporting fresh fruit cleared to pass through the border gate.

Customs clearance of goods was also resumed at the Huu Nghi border gate from February 7. So far, a total of 60 trucks carrying agricultural products have been permitted to cross the nation’s northern border.

Currently, Lang Son province has over 1,200 trucks which are waiting to pass through the border gates.
