Mini Thailand Week 2022 gets underway in Ho Chi Minh City

VOV.VN - The Mini Thailand Week 2022 kicked off on August 5 in Ho Chi Minh City, featuring the participation of roughly 100 Thai exhibitors.

On display at the three-day fair are a wide range of unique Thai products, including food and beverages, health and beauty products, home and kitchen appliances, fashion and accessories, tourism products and food.

Visitors to the fair also have the opportunity to sample some authentic Thai dishes at pavilions such as Thai Select and Golden Elephant, as well as enjoying music and dance performances which showcase Thai culture during the event.

Suparporn Sookmark, director of the Thai Trade Office in Ho Chi Minh City, emphasised that the fair represents an ideal venue for Thai businesses to strengthen trade exchanges and stimulate consumption demand as the local economy is significantly recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic.

It also helps Vietnamese and Thai business communities find additional investment opportunities and expand distribution networks, she said.

Vietnam and Thailand have set a target of raising their two-way trade turnover to US$25 billion by 2025.
