Metalex Vietnam 2017 attracts over 500 exhibitors

The three-day exhibition features over 500 exhibitors from 25 countries around the world, including Germany, Turkey, Thailand, Japan and Vietnam.

Suttisak Wilanan, Deputy Managing Director of Reed Tradex Co. Ltd., the organiser of the exhibition, said the event will introduce machine tools and metalworking solutions to manufacturers, which would facilitate production improvements.

Two other exhibitions will be held concurrently at the SECC, the International Electronic Assembly Machinery Expo for Electronic Parts & Components Manufacturing, and an exhibition on products relating to the support industry. Visitors will be able to discover the latest products in electronic assembly technology and industrial spare parts.  

Together, the three exhibitions will highlight the leading providers of metalworking solutions for production upgrade, electronic assembly machinery and high-quality industrial spare parts. Workshops will be planned throughout the event, offering professional metalworking solutions, and many business opportunities in one of the most dynamic markets in the ASEAN region.  

Ureerat Ratanaprukse, Consul General of Thailand in Ho Chi Minh City, said that while the ASEAN Economic Community and Vietnamese economy are growing strongly and integrating into the global economy, the Metalex Vietnam 2017 exhibition was an important opportunity to explore efficient and sustainable productivity solutions for the manufacturing sector.
