Made-in Vietnam robots shine at Las Vegas show
(VOV) - The two Vietnamese robots mRobo and DiscoRobo have captured visitors’ attention at the world’s largest consumer electronics show (CES 2013) in Las Vegas, US.
The most recent version of mRobo is a modern design featuring upgraded dance control technology.
The mRobo sound quality is particularly impressive, ranked among the world’s best. Its arms are capable of performing dynamic life-like actions and its retail price of just US$199 is much cheaper than competitor Sony’s Qri robot (US$68,000) and Nao Robot (US$20,000).
Andrea Yee, Sales Director of the US Macy chain, said her customers were already asking the chain to stock mRobo at all its US stores.
The US magazine Inquisitr placed mRobo in CES 2013’s top 10 outstanding technology trends.
