Local gold ring prices surge to reach new record high
VOV.VN - The prices of domestic gold rings continued their upward trajectory on October 23, reaching an all-time high of VND88.38 million per tael.
Prices of gold rings at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company were quoted at VND86.88 million and VND88.38 million per tael for buying and selling, thereby representing respective rises of VND300,000 and VND400,000 per tael, compared to the trading session from the previous day.
Furthermore, Doji Group bought and sold gold rings at VND87.2 million and VND88.2 million per tael, marking an increase of VND400,000 from one day ago.
Elsewhere, Saigon Gold and Jewelry Company rated each tael of SJC gold rings at VND86.3 million for buying and VND87.6 million for selling, up VND200,000 per tael from the transactions on October 22. Meanwhile, the price of gold bars climbed to VND89 million per tael.
Saigon Gold and Jewelry Company listed each tael of SJC gold bar at VND87 million and VND89 million per tael, up VND1 million for buying and selling prices compared to the previous day.
Globally, gold prices edged higher on October 23, duly reaching a new historic peak of US$2,747 per ounce, up US$30 per ounce against the previous trading session.
Gold prices were largely impacted by major factors such as the escalation of ongoing tensions in the Middle East and the interest rate cut by the US Federal Reserve, according to international experts.
Domestic gold prices are therefore predicted to continue rising moving forward amid increasing global gold prices.
