Lam Dong gears up for Vietnam-RoK trade and cultural event
VOV.VN - Lam Dong province will host the "K-Vietnam Wellness Festa & Expo in DaLat 2026" in November 2026, combining trade exhibitions, cultural exchanges, sports, and healthcare programs to foster economic cooperation and promote tourism between Vietnamese and Korean enterprises.
During a press conference held on October 21 by Da Hae International Co., Ltd., organizers announced that the program is designed to connect businesses from both nations, boost market expansion, and elevate the profile of Da Lat and Lam Dong on the international stage.
The program features four main pillars of activity. Notably, the K-V Expo is expected to host around 200 booths spanning beauty care, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, functional foods, wellness products, and high-tech agriculture. Additionally, the event series offers vibrant cultural highlights, including a Vietnam - the Republic of Korea (RoK) art exchange night, a charity Hanbok - Ao Dai fashion show, a street food festival, and music performances.
A major sporting highlight is the international running race “For a Green Da Lat 2026,” projected to attract over 5,000 athletes carrying a message of environmental protection and climate change response. The organizers target approximately 200,000 visitors, creating an effective networking platform for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from both countries.
Vo Thi Hoang Yen, Deputy Director of the Lam Dong Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion, stated that organizers plan to invite five to seven additional provinces and cities to participate, while encouraging local associations, enterprises, and cooperatives to join. This broader participation is expected to enrich product and tourism promotion spaces while strengthening partnerships with the Republic of Korea (RoK) counterparts.
Through these activities, organizers aim to position Da Lat and Lam Dong as a convergence point for trade, culture, and tourism, thereby contributing to international cooperation and sustainable local economic development.
