Int'l Food Industry Exhibition gets underway in HCM City
VOV.VN - As many as 450 businesses from 31 provinces and cites throughout Vietnam and from 23 countries and territories worldwide are showcasing their products across 600 stands at an International Food Industry Exhibition, Vietnam Foodexpo 2018, which opened in HCM City on November 14.

Do Thang Hai, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, when addressing the opening ceremony said Foodexpo 2018 is one of the biggest agriculture, seafood and food industry exhibitions in Vietnam.
The national trade promotion event, gives the organizing board to perfect opportunity to implement practical activities in order to share production, trade and market trends, therefore helping businesses to plan their operations to better meet the demands of consumers, said Mr Hai.
The opening day of Vietnam Foodexpo 2018 has welcomed a large number of visitors, particularly businesspeople and buyers from key markets such as the Republic of Korea, Japan, China, the US, France, Singapore, Malaysia, India and Thailand as well as from many localities within Vietnam.
The expo, which will run until November 17, opens to commercial visitors during the first three days and to all guests on the final day.
