The SaigonTex and SaigonFabric 2023 offers a prime opportunity for both Vietnamese and foreign garment makers to introduce products, materials and advanced machinery, as well as exploring each other’s demands and seeking partnerships.

A series of symposiums on the world’s economic forecast and green solutions for the textile and the garment industry will also be held during the expo.

Co-organised by the Vietnam Textile & Apparel Association (VITAS), the State-owned Vietnam National Textile-Garment Group (Vinatex), the Association of Garment Textile Embroidery Knitting in Ho Chi Minh City (AGTEK), and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the expo is scheduled to run until April 8.

Under the Government strategy for the textile-footwear development, Vietnam’s textile and garment industry aims to raise its export turnover to US$50 billion by 2025 and US$70 billion by 2030.

Vietnam earned US$37.5 billion from exporting textiles and garments in 2022.
