International Real Estate Conference 2018 opens

Vietbuild 2018 attracted 1,500 pavilions with businesses from 30 nations around the globe showcasing their latest products and services in the construction and real estate fields.

Diverse activities have been held during the event including seminars, a business forum and exchanges among local and foreign companies and a vote on the most impressive stall display. 

The event enables Vietnamese businesses to expand trade and investment links, find foreign partners and gain access to cutting-edge technologies. It also helps foreign firms and international economic organizations to seek investment opportunities in Vietnam – a market with great potential for development.

IREC 2018 got underway after the opening ceremony for Vietbuild Hanoi 2018, under the theme ‘A World of Opportunities’. A wide range of activities are planned for the event including a conference on the world’s real estate associations, forums on trends in global real estate market development, and investment promotion conferences.

IREC 2018 welcomed more than 500 international guests from nearly 30 nations including the US, the Republic of Korea, and Southeast Asian nations.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Minister of Construction Pham Hong Ha said that recent advancements in the real estate market have proactively contributed to the rapid and sustainable economic development while improving social security and supporting the country’s modernization and industrialization process and the implementation of national strategies on housing, urban development and tourism.

Real estate has given fresh impetus to the vigorous growth in the markets of finance, securities, labour and services and even related industries such as construction, construction materials.

These events have presented opportunities to promote connectivity and investment, share experience and enhance cooperation among local and foreign real estate developers, while introducing the development potential, land and people of Vietnam and the local real estate market to the wider world, Minister Ha said.
