Industrial and Manufacturing Fair 2022 kicks off in Binh Duong

The exhibition also creates a forum for international manufacturers to introduce their cutting-edge technologies, contributing to meeting rising demand for industrial production and trade exchanges among Vietnamese firms , including those in Binh Duong.

The event attracted the participation of exhibitors from 15 countries globally, including popular names such as Autonics Vina, Mitsubishi Electric, THACO Industries, 3M, Thinh Qua , Logiform, SICKs, DAT Tech, Beckhoff, Swisslog, Interroll Thailand, Tai Chung Seiki Vietnam, Wustech, Helukabel, Mitutoyo, Servo Dynamics, and Yale.

Addressing the function, Mai Hung Dung, standing vice chairman of Binh Duong’s Provincial People's Committee, emphasised that the province’s industrial production index has increased by an average of 9.3% per year.

During the opening five months of the year, Binh Duong attracted 4,047 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects capitalised at more than US$39.5 billion, turning it into one of the three localities which has attracted the most FDI in the country.

He went on to express his belief that the expo will serve as a bridge for both domestic and foreign associations, as well as businesses, to introduce their advanced technologies in the industrial and automation sectors, creating fresh technological solutions to improve the quality and competitiveness of Vietnamese products and services in the global market.

A series of seminars will be held within the framework of the fair in a bid to introduce new technology solutions that can be applied in industrial production with the participation of leading local and foreign experts.

The exhibition is scheduled to run through to June 10.
