VOV.VN - An international textile trade fair opened in Ho Chi Minh City on March 22, displaying the latest and most popular fabrics that are expected to become spring-summer trends this year.

Texfuture Vietnam 2023 brings together 90 exhibitors from Vietnam and other countries and territories around the world. The fair itself is divided into seven areas, including Sustainable Fabrics, Fashion Fabrics, Functional Fabrics, Technique, Information & Solutions, Textile Raw Materials, and Home Textiles & Accessories.

Most notably, more than 1,500 high-end fabrics are showcased at the Trendy Zone area where businesses are introducing the latest fabrics with trending patterns and the most advanced technology used in the textile industry today.

Some of the typical items on display include fabrics combined with virtualisation technology, 3D technology, green fabrics, fabrics using recycled materials such as seashells, coffee, and lotus waste.

The first fabric library in Vietnam involving around 20,000 fabric samples worldwide and a data center providing the latest information on markets, materials, and business solutions in the industry will also debut.

Along with this, seminars on spring-summer fashion trends, and new age of design will be held.

The fair is scheduled to last through to March 24 and is expected to attract over 1,500 visitors.
