HCM City to host Vietstock Expo & Forum 2022
VOV.VN - Vietnam’s Premier International Feed, Livestock, and Meat Industry Show (VietStock 2022) will take place from October 12 to October 14 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City.
This information was unveiled at a press conference held on September 14 by SES Vietnam Exhibition Services Company, a part of Informa Markets Group.
Rungphech Chitanuwat Rose, regional director for ASEAN of Informa Markets, emphasised that the event will attract the participation of over 170 businesses from 21 countries and territories and will feature international and local popular brands. This includes the likes of Famsun, Big Herdsman, Pigtek, Big Dutchman, De Heus, Thuan Nhat Auto Electric, Provimi, Peja, AB Agri, Buhler, Miavit, Stolz Asia, SKOV, Amandus, Pericoli, CPM, Nabel Asia, and R.E.P Bio.
It is anticipated that the event will provide an ideal venue in which businesses can come together to share experience in the livestock - aquaculture - processing value chain, thereby seeking fresh solutions and opening up further co-operation opportunities for the industry.
Tong Xuan Chinh, deputy director of the Department of Livestock Production, underscored the importance of the event in terms of contributing to the modernisation of the livestock industry. Indeed, businesses will be given the opportunity to introduce leading equipment and technology as well as cutting-edge treatment technologies to protect the environment, thereby helping to develop the livestock industry in a sustainable manner.
Chinh pointed out that the exhibition will serve as a platform for the domestic livestock industry to devise orientations relating to the development of advanced technologies in animal husbandry.
A number of international seminars will also be held during the event to provide in-depth knowledge and update participants on the latest trends of the livestock industry, while a Business Connection Exchange Program is scheduled for exhibitors and buyers at the exhibition.
Along with the exhibition, the prestigious Vietstock Awards 2022 will also return to honour businesses, organisations, and cooperatives that have made significant contributions to the development of the Vietnamese livestock industry.
