HCM City hosts int’l exhibitions on food and beverages
(VOV) - More than 300 businesses from 19 countries are participating in the 14th Vietfood & Beverage Exhibition and the 18th Int’l Exhibition on Food Processing, Packaging Technology (Propack Vietnam 2014) taking place in HCM City from Sept 10-13.
On display at 350 pavilions are products in the fields of food processing, beverage, beer, machines and equipment, and processing technologies.
To support local and foreign business communities to promote their products to consumers, diverse activities are being held including beer and culinary arts festivals, along with a seminar to promote business connectivity.
Especially, the municipal Department of Industry and Trade, the WTO Centre and HCM City’s Food & Foodstuff Association have worked together on organizing a seminar to share information and experiences to improve the value of processing goods and services of local and foreign businesses.
The exhibitions have been co-organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, HCM City’s Food & Foodstuff Association, Vietnam Beer, Beverage & Alcohol Association (VBA).
