Hanoi welcomes opening of international Textile & Garment Industry Expo
VOV.VN - The Vietnam Hanoi Textile & Garment Industry Fabric & Garment Accessories Expo (HANOITEX) 2022 kicked off on November 23 in Hanoi, featuring the participation of 146 exhibitors from nine countries and territories worldwide.
The three-day function will showcase textile-garment machinery and equipment, high-quality silk and fabrics, dyeing equipment and chemicals, along with materials and accessories.
Upon addressing the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan said that the expo would provide an excellent opportunity for Vietnamese textile and garment enterprises to access numerous modern technologies and equipment from advanced countries.
During the course of the expo, local textile enterprises will have chance to seek providers for equipment, technology and materials, and get updated on the latest information regarding the global world market in order to continue developing strongly and sustainably, he noted.
The annual expo is organised by the CP Exhibition Hong Kong, VCCI Expo, and Vinatex, under the patronage of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association.
