Hanoi set to host 30th Vietnam International Trade Fair
VOV.VN - The Vietnam International Trade Fair 2021 (Vietnam Expo 2021) is scheduled to be held between April 14 and April 17 in Hanoi, according to details released by the National Trade Fair And Advertising Joint Stock Company (Vinexad).
Vietnam Expo 2021 represents a key trade promotion event hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and is being held with the aim of boosting exports, developing the domestic market, and diversifying promotional activities in order to accelerate the international economic integration process.
A Vinexad representative said that the purpose of the occasion is to discuss the digital transformation model that can be applied to manufacturing and service enterprises, along with sharing digital skills among domestic firms.
The representative added that the company has hosted several trade exhibitions and fairs via both online and direct platforms since the end of last year, with meetings and transactions typically being held through the intermediary application Zoom.
The key commodity groups which are set to be on show at the Vietnam Expo include popular brands in the fields of machinery, equipment, supporting industries, electricity and electronics, food and beverages, and agricultural products.
Furthermore, the upcoming function also represents the sixth consecutive year that the “Invest in Vietnam” booth will be located at the heart of the exhibition.
Indeed, the goal of its position at the venue is to introduce potential and investment attraction policies as a means of developing key industries of eight provinces and cities, including Yen Bai, Bac Ninh, Nghe An, Khanh Hoa, An Giang, Dong Thap, and Vinh Long.
Vietnam Expo 30 is expected to create opportunities for domestic firms to implement an array of business models, especially the digital business model following the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic being gradually brought under control both domestically and globally.
