Titled VIETNAM OCOPEX 2025, the event will feature 300 booths representing more than 150 businesses. Exhibits will include a wide array of OCOP-certified products such as tea, coffee, souvenirs, herbal remedies, agarwood, essential oils, turmeric starch, processed foods, dried goods, bird’s nests, and beauty items.

With its abundant natural resources, favorable climate, and rich cultural heritage, Vietnam has succeeded in exporting key agricultural products as well as a diverse range of specialty items infused with local identity, OCOP products among them.

By the end of this year, the total number of OCOP products rated three stars or higher reached 14,642, an increase of 3,586 compared to 2023. Of these, 79 products earned a five-star national rating.

The OCOP programme has made a real impact on rural economic development by promoting value chain linkages, tapping into local potential, and enhancing regional competitiveness. Many OCOP products now meet quality, food safety, and eco-friendly packaging standards, aligning with consumer and market demands.

The initiative has also played a key role in job creation and improving livelihoods, particularly in disadvantaged areas and among vulnerable groups such as ethnic minorities and women.

Importantly, the programme has empowered producers to take a proactive role in market expansion, diversify distribution networks, and scale up their production and business operations.
