Gold prices below VND47 mln/tael
(VOV) - Domestic gold dropped to VND46.97 million/tael on November 13.
In Hanoi at 9.40am, SJC gold was transacted at VND46.75-46.97 million/tael, down by VND50,000/tael compared to the previous day, but it hovered around VND46.75-46.97 million/tael in Techcombank, Sacombank and Eximbank.
In Ho Chi Minh City, SJC gold was listed at VND46.75-46.95 million/tael.
In the meantime, Bao Tin Minh Chau company’s Thang Long Dragon gold was traded at VND43.1-43.35 million/tael, VND3.6 million/tael lower than SJC gold.
On the morning of November 13, the world price of gold was down by US$6 to US$1,724 per ounce, but the inter-bank exchange rate remained at VND20,828 per US dollar.
