Global tech giants set to attend HCM City Autumn Economic Forum 2025
VOV.VN - Ho Chi Minh City is gearing up to host the Autumn Economic Forum 2025 from November 25–27, with world-leading technology companies taking center stage.
Speaking at a press conference in HCM City on November 14, Le Truong Duy, Director of the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution in HCM City (HCMC C4IR), shared that about 400 international guests from 91 delegations worldwide confirmed their attendance at the event.
Notably, representatives from top tech giants such as Hitachi, Siemens, Foxconn, Schneider, Vecna Robotics, Quantum Mads, Sunwah, and Amazon are expected to attend the forum, highlighting Vietnam’s growing importance as a hub for innovation and high-tech development.
The forum will also host international research and innovation institutions, including the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Italian Institute of Technology, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, SRI International of Japan, and Arizona State University.
The event, themed Green Transition in the Digital Era, will be attended by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, along with ministers, local leaders, and hundreds of international delegates.
The Government chief will engage in a high-level policy dialogue between Vietnam and the World Economic Forum (WEF), focusing on strategic cooperation in green economy, high-tech industry, artificial intelligence and innovation.
International delegates will visit technology companies headquartered in HCM City and scenic spots in the city.
The Director of HCMC C4IR noted that the forum will consider a bridge to help businesses in HCM City in particular and Vietnam in general to integrate into the world.
Nguyen Loc Ha, Vice Chairman of the HCM City People's Committee, said that the Autumn Economic Forum will accelerate innovation, multi-sector cooperation, and sustainable development, paving the way for Vietnam to integrate more deeply into the global tech ecosystem.
