Garment makers showcase products at Premiere Vision 2022 France

VOV.VN - More than 10 Vietnamese garment makers are displaying their products at Première Vision 2022, a leading textile and fashion fair in the world, which is taking place in Paris, France, from July 5-7.

Among popular names are Thien An Phu, Thai Hoa, Bac Giang, and Phuong Dong garment and textile companies.

The participation of Vietnamese businesses demonstrates desires to promote economic, trade and investment cooperation between the two countries, as well as cooperation in garment making between Vietnam and France and other countries, said Vietnamese Ambassador to France Dinh Toan Thang who inaugurated the Vietnamese pavilions.

According to the ambassador, the European Union - Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) which officially took effect in August 2020 serves as an important legal tool for Vietnamese businesses to further penetrate the French and EU markets in the coming time.

The EU is a large and potential but demanding market that requires Vietnamese textile and garment firms to have a good penetration strategy. Their presence in events like Première Vision 2022 will help the businesses learn about the needs and tastes of European consumers, said Truong Van Cam, vice president of the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS).

Première Vision is the largest and most prestigious fair of the world’s textile and fashion industry in France. The fair is held annually, attracting more than 60,000 visitors and more than 1,200 international exhibitors.
