First electric vehicle model produced by VinFast goes on sale
VOV.VN - As the nation’s first automaker, VinFast is now officially taking pre-orders for its first-ever electric model VF e34, with the vehicle being priced at VND690 million.
Most notably, customers who make orders between now and June 30 will be offered an attractive price of VND590 million along with a one year free-of-charge battery lease.
Those interested in making a purchase from the local firm can access the website http://shop.vinfastauto.com or visit VinFast’s showrooms and agencies nationwide in order to make a refundable deposit, which costs VND10 million for each pre-order.
Furthermore, VinFast has also launched a battery leasing plan that will allow customers to rent batteries separately from the electric vehicle.
This move is being done with the aim of reducing the initial cost for clients when buying the electric vehicle. Indeed, the automaker will also be responsible for any risks in relation to the quality of the vehicle’s battery and lifespan.
The schedule will see the environmentally friendly vehicle handed over to buyers in November, with refunds on offer in the event that customers choose to cancel their orders.
VinFast also plans to develop and put into action approximately 40,000 charging stations across the country by the end of the year.
